Standard Horizontal Hotplate Welding Machine

This machine is a Standard Horizontal Hotplate Welding Machine, with an automatic welding cycle.

This particular machine was one of a pair built for welding Centre Vent Ducts for the Nissan Micra.

These machines have fixed tooling, which is not changed, but normally tooling can be changed rapidly to process different products.

The arrangements for tool changeover are such that no setting up is required, and production can resume immediately after, without loss of weld quality.
Cycle time is of the order of 35 seconds.

It is one of a range of machines, with hot-plate sizes ranging from 250mm x 150mm up to 450mm x 450mm. Whilst these sizes are our standard sizes, other sizes can be built to suit a particular product.

The machines are designed for a long life in multishift operation.
They are safe to operate, and easy to maintain, requiring little more than being kept clean.
The design of the machine has been proved and refined over many years.

Twin Head Horizontal Hotplate Welding Machine

This machine is a variation on a Standard Horizontal Hotplate Welding Machine, with an automatic welding cycle.

This particular machine was built for welding two nozzles onto a body.
The material is polyamide which freezes rapidly, so the design of the machine is such that the melt-to-squeeze time is reduced to a minimum (in this case to 0.5 seconds).
